+Prince Gumball Crown Tutorial+ by Bean-Sprout +Prince Gumball Crown Tutorial+ by Bean-Sprout
+FULLVIEW PLEASE+

I was asked by a couple of people on how to make this crown, after I had finished making it. Some were more desperate than others to get this asap... so.. I try to deliver what they wanted.

I found almost all the supplies I needed at Hobby Lobby. I found the gloss spray paint at Walmart.

-THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW-

*The model magic is a light weight clay that you can use for making lighter things. This isn't a very expensive clay either, so I highly recommend this.

*PLEASE be careful with super glue. This substance is VERY sticky and you can glue your fingers together. Please wear rubber gloves when dealing with super glue.

-When you are done making your crown, you are probably wondering how to put it on your head and keep it on cause it's SO tiny.

Well, this was what I was planning on doing. You will need a pink wig for Gumball first off, then to be able to stick it on the wig you will need to get a hair clip that is the size of your crown. You will super glue it or hot glue the crown to the hair clip and then stick it in the wig. It should work cause that's what I was going to do.

So, have fun and remember to keep trying. :)

I hope it's everything that you were hoping for in a tutorial. <3

If you have any questions, please contact me. I'm always willing to help. :)

Cept for the picture of just the crown, that was a picture by the great ~Solstice-Rose. She moved and deleted the image.

This was really helpful! Thank you so much! Have you tried gluing it to the hair clip and putting it on the wig yet, and if so, how did that work out? The part I'm most worried about is attaching it.

To be completely honest I had to put all cosplay on hold cause I've been having a very rough year, but I'll try to back into it soon. Sorry for the late reply, but I hope to have it figured out soon. >n<

Well, you are very welcome! I am going to cosplay him eventually too and wanted to attempt to make the crown. I've seen other cosplayers use paper or plastic and that didn't look real classy to me. I wanted it to look like a 'real' attempted crown. lol

but I'm SO glad you approve of this. It was my first real time creating something that hasn't been thought up before. Please, if you do make it and get your cosplay together please send me pictures so I can see. :D

Oh wow for your first time it looks so amazing! i just hope mine comes out even half as well as yours.

Sadly I do not have time to do his normal cosplay so me and my friend are going as Marshall and Gumball but I will be in purple jeans and a pink hoodie like how PB looks in the Movie night ep.

I am rather fail at cosplay so doing my skin to look pink will be a bit tough haha...but I shall show you when it is done.

I normally cosplay Finn,He is by far my fave character but my friend wants to be Marshall lee so yeah haha.

Oh yea, his relaxed clothes. That will be cute! <3

and on cosplays, I'm not the best either to be honest. This year has been like my true attempt to really get into making cosplays. Mostly props tho. I find I have a knack for making props better than the clothes.

but like I said, when you get up the cosplay up and running let me see. xD I hope the crown will work out for you. :D

Yeah this real is my real attempt as well! Oh nice,I suck at making anything really...good with other things though haha. Well I will have to check out your page some more and see your other props..your crown is amazing so I bet your other things are too.

Oh I shall do so,once I get it up and running haha.

Well, since I'm just starting out I don't have a lot of projects up. Just testing out the water mostly.

One of my big projects I'm going to be working on is daggers for my Zidane cosplay. (He's from Final Fantasy 9) So, I can't wait to play around with that. :)

Well, thank you! I honestly think it's beginners lunk.. and a little OCD on my part... but since I never had a chance to do this really hardcore when I was younger I want to attempt to do it as much as possible. It makes me happy.. so it's a good hobby.

omgosh.. I can't wait to see your crown! I'm so excited! xD

It is pretty much cheaper. I got it at a store called Hobby Lobby. The price I got it for was 5 bucks or so. Which isn't bad.

It looks like this [link]

I hope this helps. :)

Beh. There's no such store that exists here. But Crayola products are abundant here! :la: Five bucks? *CONVERT CONVERT CONVERT* Ultra-cheap for a large pack! Polymer Clay costs the same, but its only a block of around 3.5 inches by 2 inches clay! And that's per color!

Thanks for the info! :dummy:

You're welcome. :D

This clay isn't great for all projects mind you, it's good if you want a light weight prop.

but I'm so glad I could help you, and sorry.. I have no idea where everyone lives so they can go to their own craft store to find these products. My craft store is called Hobby Lobby, but I hope you get that clay and have fun with it. :)
